Support My Journey
Hi Friends and Family,
For most of you, this is a repeat visit to my donation page so thank you very much for sticking with me on this journey to conquer cancer in our lifetime. If this is your first trip here, then welcome. Hopefully it will not be your last!
As most of you know, my connection with cancer is quite direct. My mother was treated for Ovarian cancer at the PMH almost 30 years ago now. Unfortunately, she lost her battle. But the good news is that through research at institutions like the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, we are making huge progress on all kinds of cancer treatment, including ovarian cancer.
In addition to losing my mother, we have also lost three people from our Hatch employee family over the past seven years. Sven, Clayton and Jennifer were each under 50 and in the prime of their lives. All were RHCC participants.
My one request is to be generous with your donation. As in past years, I will match your donation dollar for dollar up to $10,000. So anything you donate is effectively doubled. Cancer can be beaten, but it takes money and that is why we play.
Game Day is the last Saturday in September (29th this year) and Hatch will have 10 teams at the event. I hope you can come down and cheer us on - it is always a fun but exhausting day!
