SUPPORT OUR JOURNEY - LET US FIND A CURE!

The support we have received over the previous 7 years has been overwhelming.  2018 is the 8th year of RHCC and LEX has been there from the beginning.  Over that time we have been complimented on our sportsmanship and dedication - I know Lex is proud of all of us, most of whom have been on the team from the beginning.

"YOU NEVER KNOW HOW STRONG YOU ARE ... UNTIL BEING STRONG IS THE ONLY CHOICE YOU HAVE."

"LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORM TO PASS ... IT'S ABOUT LEARNING TO DANCE IN THE RAIN"

"WHEN LIFE GIVE YOU HUNDREDS OF REASONS TO CRY.... SHOW LIFE YOU HAVE A THOUSAND REASONS TO SMILE"

The above 3 quotes that Lex found on the internet exemplify who Alexis was - a strong, warm and loving person which we have been reminded of by many others over the years from all over the world.

Alexis lost her 6+ year war with acute lymphoblastic leukemia ("ALL") on December 29, 2010 while in Tel Aviv (28th in Toronto) recovering from the experimental haploidentical stem cell transplant as a result of a liver infection.  Despite the many ups and downs she encountered, she was strong throughout.  This transplant is now being utilized at Toronto's own Sick Kid's hospital to provide a chance for children to survive leukemia when no match is available by the conventional transplant means.

From 2009 to 2017(including Light the Night), OVER $200,000 has been raised for cancer and leukemia research in memory of Alexis by Team Lex.

All of us on team Lex thank you for you continued support.
